Das Besondere von STROHPLUS: es werden bis zu dreigeschossige H\u00e4user ausschlie\u00dflich in lasttragender Strohbauweise errichtet. Jumbo-Strohballen mit einem Gewicht von 250 kg, verputzt mit Lehm bzw. Kalk fungieren als lasttragende Elemente. Die W\u00e4nde der in STROHPLUS BAUTECHNIK errichteten Geb\u00e4ude haben eine Wandst\u00e4rke von 80 cm. Verwendet werden zertifizierte Strohballen von Waldland. Die STROHPLUS GMBH hat seit 2012 auch Pr\u00fcfungen wie Lasttest (um den statischen Nachweis zu erbringen) und den erforderlichen Brandtest positiv abgeschlossen. Ein Musterhaus (allerdings nur) mit zwei lasttragenden Strohballenw\u00e4nden wurde in Ebergassing errichtet und bekam 1000 klimaaktiv Punkte: Gold.
