Zielsetzung bei der Planung f\u00fcr das neue B\u00fcrogeb\u00e4ude war, ein nachhaltiges, baubiologisch optimiertes Geb\u00e4ude in Passivhausstandard zu errichten. Daf\u00fcr schien uns der in Vorarlberg bis dahin un\u00fcbliche Strohballenbau besonders gut geeignet. Das Interesse der Besucher war w\u00e4hrend der verschiedenen Bauphasen bis zur Fertigstellung dementsprechend gro\u00df. Seither sind in Vorarlberg einige Strohballenbauten entstanden. Nutzung der Bodenplatte als Solarspeicher (Betonkernaktivierung).
Speicherkonzept: Statt eines \u00fcblichen Wasserspeichers wird die gesamte Masse der Bodenplatte und des Estrichs als Solarspeicher genutzt. Dieser besteht aus 17m\u00b3 Beton und 4,5 m\u00b3 Estrich, was einem Wasserspeicher von ca. 9000 Litern entspricht. Die Solarw\u00e4rme wird im Prim\u00e4rkreislauf (ohne W\u00e4rmetauscher) durch die Rohre im Estrich direkt an die Speichermasse abgegeben. Aufgrund der direkten W\u00e4rme\u00fcbertragung ergeben sich niedrigere Systemtemperaturen, womit ein optimaler Wirkungsgrad des Kollektors erreicht wird. Die W\u00e4rme wird \u00fcber den Fu\u00dfboden zeitverz\u00f6gert an den Raum abgegeben. Die noch an wenigen Tagen erforderliche zus\u00e4tzliche Heizenergie kann von der St\u00fcckholzheizung im nebenstehenden Wohnhaus \u00fcber Heizleisten eingebracht werden. Damit k\u00f6nnen die R\u00e4ume auf die gew\u00fcnschte Temperatur beheizt werden, ohne das solare System zu \u201est\u00f6ren\u201c.
